A brand-new country music festival, the Northern Star Country Music Festival, is set to take place in Inverness next year. The one-day event will be held at the city’s Northern Meeting Park on September 6, 2025, promising to bring “world-class acts” to the area.
Described as the “grand ole highland hoedown,” the festival will feature a wide array of country-themed activities. Attendees can expect dueling bucking broncos, line dancing, country karaoke, a cactus toss, a best-dressed cowboy and cowgirl contest, as well as BBQs and beers.
Though the official line-up has yet to be announced, festival organizers are building anticipation with promises of a high-energy, fun-filled day. Early bird ticket sales and additional event details will be released in the coming months.
The festival will also be one of the first major events to take place at the Northern Meeting Park following its recent refurbishment.
