Mexico’s rising pop music sensation Humbe is making waves with the release of his latest album, Armagedón, marking a significant turning point in his career. Following the success of his sold-out Latin American tour and his decision to go independent, Humbe is embracing a new, experimental direction in his music.
Known for hits like “Fantasmas” and “Patadas de Ahogado” with Latin Mafia, Armagedón introduces a more sensual and adventurous side of his emotional pop, blending themes of destruction and rebirth. Reflecting on the creative process, Humbe shared, “When you start to trust yourself more than what others say, that’s when making music becomes truly enjoyable.” He added, “This album brought me pure peace, from start to finish. It’s my vision, my life seen through music.”
Originally from Monterrey, Nuevo León, Humbe first gained attention during the pandemic with viral TikTok videos of his music-making process. His 2021 album Entropía earned him a Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist, and his genre-defying sound continues to set him apart. Known for blending R&B and pop, Humbe’s Armagedón promises to elevate his artistry even further, following the euphoric, soulful sound of his 2023 album Esencia.
