Ice Cube has made a major comeback on the Billboard Top Rap Albums chart, with his solo album Man Down debuting at No. 8 for the week of Dec. 7. This marks his first appearance in the top 10 in 14 years, with the album earning 20,000 equivalent album units during the tracking period ending Nov. 28. The album, released on Nov. 22 via Lench Mob/Hitmaker Music Group, sold 15,000 copies, making it the second-highest-selling rap album of the week, just behind Kendrick Lamar’s GNX.

Man Down also saw success on the all-genre Top Album Sales chart, debuting at No. 9. Streaming contributed 5,000 units, with the album’s tracks generating 13.9 million official on-demand streams in the U.S. This marks Ice Cube’s fourth solo top 10 on the Top Rap Albums chart, joining previous hits such as Laugh Now, Cry Later (No. 2), Raw Footage (No. 1), and I Am the West (No. 6). Additionally, his work with N.W.A. remains iconic, with The Best of N.W.A.: The Strength of Street Knowledge reaching No. 25 in 2007.
