Swiss folk-metal pioneers Eluveitie are making their long-awaited return with their brand new single, “Premonition.” The track, which marks their first new release in two years, blends the band’s signature melodic death metal sound with traditional Celtic folk, showcasing over two decades of expertise in both modern metal and ancient mythology.
“Premonition” is the first glimpse of Eluveitie’s upcoming album, scheduled for release in 2025. The band describes the song as a powerful reflection of their musical journey, infused with ancient Celtic wisdom and druidic themes. “It lays bare the heart and soul of Eluveitie’s music,” the band said, “transporting deep ancient wisdom into the modern age, while offering insight through struggle both within and around us.”
In support of the new music, Eluveitie will embark on their own headliner tour, ÁNV RISING – EUROPE, beginning in January 2025. Later that year, they will join forces with Arch Enemy, Amorphis, and Gatecreeper for a European tour starting in October.
