Luke Bryan has joined forces with hip-hop star Quavo and soulful singer Teddy Swims for a new collaborative track, “Georgia Ways,” which dropped on December 6. The release comes as the University of Georgia, the institution that commissioned the song, prepares for its highly anticipated Southeastern Conference championship football game against the University of Texas on December 7.

In Georgia Ways, Bryan’s contribution features a personal touch as he describes a serene moment of fly fishing on the Flint River, reflecting his deep connection to the state’s outdoors with a reference to his Appaloosa running line.

The song marks a fresh direction for Bryan, who released his latest album in September. The country star shared that the new album presents more mature themes compared to his earlier work, acknowledging his evolving sound. “I remember being 35, 36 years old, at spring break thinking, ‘I’m 35. It’s probably time to hang this thing up.’ But I’ve always leaned toward youthful fun,” Bryan said, noting that his music continues to bring joy and energy to his audiences.
