A new rock music festival, Rock The Valley, is coming to West Virginia in 2025, bringing a fresh wave of excitement to the region. Set to take place on October 4 and 5 at the Wetzel County 4H Grounds in New Martinsville, this festival is poised to showcase the region’s vibrant rock and metal scene.
Founder Wesley Morgan explained that the festival’s aim is to celebrate the area’s strong metal and rock culture while providing an exciting, community-driven event. “It’s not about competing with major festivals like INK or Sonic Temple, but rather bringing fun, entertainment, and economic opportunity to the Ohio Valley,” Morgan said.
Morgan emphasized that Rock The Valley will create numerous local jobs and generate revenue for the surrounding towns, cities, and counties. The festival will feature local bands, including Theriaca, Wrath of The Fallen, and Gray Roses, with more acts to be announced in the coming weeks.
The festival is set to reveal its daily lineup starting Monday, December 9, with a headliner announcement expected soon. Additional details regarding camping, parking, and ticket information will be shared shortly. Fans are encouraged to stay tuned for more updates as Rock The Valley gets closer to taking the stage in 2025.
