Grammy-winning, multi-Platinum country music artist Lainey Wilson has renewed her partnership with Sony Music Publishing Nashville, extending a successful collaboration that began in 2017.
Wilson, whose career has been defined by chart-topping hits and record-breaking success, has achieved seven No. 1 singles, including “Watermelon Moonshine” and the double-Platinum hit “Heart Like A Truck.” Her groundbreaking work has earned her prestigious awards, including the 2024 Grammy for Best Country Album for Bell Bottom Country. With her latest album, Whirlwind, released earlier this year, Wilson also secured a second consecutive nomination for Best Country Album at the upcoming 2025 Grammy Awards.
“I couldn’t be happier to continue my partnership with Sony Music Publishing. I’ll always be a songwriter first, and I appreciate having such a supportive team that agrees it all starts with the songs,” Wilson shared.
Over her career, Wilson has garnered nine ACM Awards, nine CMA Awards, and was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2024. She also earned recognition as Female Country Artist of the Year at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards and took home the Country Song of the Year honor at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards for “Heart Like A Truck.”
Anna Weisband, Vice President of Creative at Sony Music Publishing Nashville, praised Wilson’s exceptional talent: “Lainey Wilson is one of the most inspiring songwriters the world has ever known. She continues to redefine the country music genre with every song she writes. I am so proud to be on her team and to continue this journey with her—I can’t wait to see what she does next!”
