Eastern New Mexico University (ENMU) has announced that platinum-selling artist and genre-defying musician BRELAND will headline a highly anticipated concert on Friday, March 29, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. The event, sponsored by JP Stone Community Bank, will take place at the Steve Loy Family Foundation Arena, continuing the university’s tradition of bringing top-tier Country music acts to the campus and surrounding community.
“We’re excited to continue our tradition of bringing world-class music to ENMU and the Eastern New Mexico community,” said ENMU Chancellor James Johnston. “I look forward to a great response from the community and to enjoying BRELAND’s incredible music with everyone.”
Known for his bold fusion of Country, Hip Hop, R&B, Gospel, and Pop, BRELAND has amassed over 1.2 billion streams and earned widespread acclaim for his groundbreaking approach to music. His platinum-certified debut single, “My Truck,” propelled him to stardom, and his debut album Cross Country further solidified his place as one of the most innovative voices in modern Country music. His artistry has garnered praise from major outlets, including NPR, The New York Times, and Rolling Stone, which described BRELAND as a standout who has reimagined Country music in ways many haven’t experienced before.
Charismatic and soulful, BRELAND is also the recipient of the Academy of Country Music’s Lift Every Voice Award. His upcoming EP, Project 2024, promises to continue pushing boundaries, marking an exciting new chapter in his already impressive career.
The evening will also feature performances from two talented openers. The Phil Hamilton Band, based in Ruidoso, New Mexico, blends soul, R&B, country, and classic rock influences, with their latest single “Coyotes and Trains” gaining traction in the Texas Red Dirt music scene. Thomas Hinds, known for his authentic folk-rock sound and heartfelt lyrics, will kick off the night with his raw, autobiographical music.
ENMU students can enjoy a special event featuring the university’s student band, Say When, before the concert, with a VIP event for sponsors starting at 4:30 p.m.
Pre-sale tickets will be available starting Friday, December 13, at 8 a.m., with general public tickets going on sale Tuesday, December 17. Tickets can be purchased online at ENMU’s website, by calling 575.562.2106, or at the ENMU Campus Union Building Information Desk.
