Flatland Cavalry marks a milestone in their decade-long journey with the release of Flatland Forever (More), an extended edition of their critically acclaimed album Flatland Forever. Out today via Interscope Records, the new version includes all 25 original tracks, plus exclusive bonus content like band commentary, alternate versions of fan favorites such as “A Life Where We Work Out” and “One I Want,” and “Mis Últimas Palabras”—a bilingual track sung in both Spanish and English.
Released last month to rave reviews, Flatland Forever was hailed by Billboard as “a stellar catalog of songs,” while Holler called it “a brilliant collection, a stunning mix of the old and the new.” The album has cemented Flatland Cavalry’s place at the heart of modern country music, with All Country News praising the band for their “honest, heartfelt storytelling paired with captivating melodies.”
In addition to the new album release, the band is celebrating with the premiere of their Ryman Auditorium headline debut performance. The full-length concert video will be available on YouTube on Monday, December 23, at 8:00 PM CT. The milestone show, which featured special guests Kaitlin Butts and Colby Acuff, also marked the band’s first-ever RIAA Gold certification for “A Life Where We Work Out.”
Flatland Cavalry’s 2025 continues with exciting live shows, including their first headline arena performance at Fort Worth’s Dickies Arena on December 31. The band’s Flatland Forever Tour will kick off in the new year, with newly confirmed dates including stops at Atlanta’s Coca-Cola Roxy, Birmingham’s Alabama Theatre, Omaha’s Steelhouse Omaha, Ann Arbor’s Michigan Theater, and more.
Since their formation in 2014, the Texas-based band has garnered widespread recognition, with Rolling Stone declaring them “at the fore of the Red Dirt Renaissance,” and The Wall Street Journal praising their “straightforward, upbeat electrified country-rock.” They’ve earned six #1 singles at Texas Country Radio, amassed more than 500 million streams, and have toured extensively, sharing stages with Willie Nelson, Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson, and others.
Flatland Cavalry’s music has also featured prominently in popular TV shows like Yellowstone and The Ranch, and the band recently received an ACM Awards nomination for Group of the Year. Their song “How Long” even reached #1 on Shazam’s U.S. Top 200 chart after being featured on Yellowstone, surpassing tracks by artists like Lady Gaga and The Weeknd.
With their expansive sound and storytelling prowess, Flatland Cavalry continues to shape the future of country music.
