The 10th anniversary of the Maui Songwriters Festival is set to take place from January 15 to January 18, 2025, at The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua. Renate Event & Design, in partnership with Sony Music Publishing Nashville, is bringing together some of the most talented songwriters, artists, and producers for an unforgettable celebration of music.
Headlined by country star Lee Brice and Joel Smallbone of for KING+COUNTRY, this year’s festival will feature top-tier songwriters and performers from a variety of genres, including Country, Pop, Rock, Americana, Hip Hop, Christian, and R&B. These artists will perform their chart-topping hits and share the stories behind their most memorable songs.
The festivities kick off with two free community showcases on January 15 and 16 at the recently revamped Alaloa Lounge at The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua. Nashville singer-songwriters Jordan Walker, Frank Ray, and Trea Landon will take the stage on January 16, setting the stage for an exciting weekend. Additionally, Maui’s own homegrown talent, including Akoni Palomino, Tempa & Naor, and Gail Swanson, will perform intimate sets, welcoming the festival’s return.
Ticketed events include a VIP Meet & Greet and Cantera Negra Tequila Tasting, featuring a special performance by Frank Ray on January 16. The festival will also introduce the ‘Maui Songwriter Festival FIND,’ highlighting emerging artist Kurt Stevens, an unsigned singer-songwriter on the rise. On January 17, attendees can enjoy a Wine Tasting and VIP Showcase headlined by Joel Smallbone and artist-actress MŌRIAH.
With a rich lineup and a celebration of the Aloha spirit, the Maui Songwriters Festival promises to be an unforgettable musical experience.
