Utah County’s rising country music star, Cole Hartley, made a special appearance on Good Things Utah this morning, where he performed his highly anticipated new single, “Living the Dream,” set for release in January. With a busy year behind him, Hartley is gearing up for even more exciting developments in 2025, including new music and a full slate of tour dates.
Currently, Hartley is focused on his upcoming project, The Six String Therapy Sessions, set to drop in April. Known for writing all his own music, Hartley shared that his inspiration often strikes unexpectedly—whether he’s driving or going about his day. He quickly grabs his guitar to turn his thoughts into songs. The concept behind the project, he explained, is therapeutic, with many of the tracks inspired by personal experiences like breakups, loneliness, and the challenges of life on the road.
In October, Hartley made a major career milestone by attending his first red carpet event at the Grand Ole Opry for the Josie Music Awards. There, he received four impressive nominations: Modern Country Artist of the Year, Modern Country Album of the Year, Modern Country Vocalist of the Year, and Modern Country Song of the Year.
Looking ahead, Hartley is filled with anticipation for 2025, promising that big things are on the horizon. Fans can expect to see more from the talented artist as he continues to make waves in the country music scene. Stay tuned for what’s to come!
