Kane Brown Takes “The High Road” with Bold New Album and Collaborations

Kane Brown is charting new territory with his upcoming fourth studio album, The High Road, set for release on January 24, 2025. Hailing from his new home studio just outside Nashville, Brown reflects on the journey that led to this highly anticipated project. Known for blending country with diverse influences, The High Road represents Brown’s boldest work to date, as he explores a range of sounds while staying true to his country roots.

Brown, who just days ago performed at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball alongside a star-studded lineup including SZA, Tate McRae, and NCT Dream, is no stranger to mixing genres. While country remains at the heart of his music, his latest album showcases a willingness to push boundaries, something the artist admits he’s “always been kind of nervous” to do. However, after nearly a decade in the industry, Brown decided it was time to embrace what he loves and take risks, stating, “Country is always my number one.”

This album is more than just a collection of tracks—it’s personal. “This is by far my favorite album, from the sequencing to the songwriting to the different sounds,” Brown shares. He reveals that unlike his previous albums, he no longer concerns himself with public opinion. “We gave our everything into the songs,” he says, emphasizing the authenticity behind each track.
