With hits like “Cherry Bomb” and “Queens of Noise,” Ford helped shape the future of rock. Her solo career took off in the early ‘80s, with her album Lita (1988) producing chart-topping hits such as “Kiss Me Deadly” and “Close My Eyes Forever,” the latter a duet with Ozzy Osbourne. Ford’s contributions to rock music have earned her numerous accolades, including a spot in the Guitar Player Hall of Fame.
