D-Nice is ringing in 2025 in style with an unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebration at Los Angeles’ iconic Walt Disney Concert Hall. The acclaimed DJ, rapper, and producer will host Deck the Hall, an extraordinary holiday event featuring a star-studded lineup of R&B, soul, hip-hop, and pop legends.
On December 31, the show will showcase performances by Big Daddy Kane, Johnny Gill, Case, Estelle, Jon B., Tweet, Lady London, Mike Philips, Nice & Smooth, and more. D-Nice (Derrick Jones) revealed to Billboard that the eclectic mix of talent came together through his spontaneous curatorial process. “Sometimes the curation is extremely random,” he explained. “Whatever the flow is like while I play a set, I’ll think, ‘Oh, this could be so good for a show.’”
He also shared his excitement about some of the unexpected collaborations for the event, particularly with Johnny Gill and Big Daddy Kane, whose music D-Nice frequently plays during his sets. “I can’t believe [Johnny] agreed to do my show, but when I reached out and told him what the concept was, he just jumped right on it,” D-Nice said. “The same thing with Big Daddy Kane. And I’ve never worked with Case before, but we’re finally doing it for New Year’s Eve. So I’m really excited about the show.”
With a lineup brimming with talent, Deck the Hall promises to be a memorable way to ring in the new year.
