K-pop sensation IVE is kicking off the new year with exciting music releases. The girl group will drop a new single on January 13, followed by the highly anticipated album IVE Empathy on February 3, according to a statement from their agency, Starship Entertainment.
The upcoming song will be featured on IVE Empathy, which marks the group’s third EP, following the success of IVE Switch released in April 2024.
IVE recently wrapped up their successful Show What I Have world tour, which spanned 37 performances across 28 cities, drawing a massive audience of 420,000 fans. The tour, which began in October of the previous year and concluded in Japan in September, also saw the group take the stage at major festivals, including Lollapalooza in Chicago and Summer Sonic 2024 in Japan.
The group’s stellar year also included multiple awards at the 2024 MAMA Awards and the Melon Music Awards (MMA 2024), solidifying their position as one of K-pop’s leading acts.
