Cambodian hip-hop sensation Vann Da is set to host a unique and interactive Listening Party this month in Phnom Penh. Scheduled for January 24th and 25th at Aeon Mall Mean Chey, the event promises to offer fans a rare and intimate experience with the artist’s music.
Taking to social media, Vann Da revealed he has prepared a selection of nearly 40 tracks, showcasing the depth of his seven-year career in the music industry. These tracks span a variety of themes and styles, ranging from older songs to newer works inspired by his musical evolution. Some tracks are personal favorites, while others are not intended for official release—adding an element of exclusivity to the event.
“This is not just a Listening Party,” Vann Da explained. “It’s an opportunity for us to meet, share emotions, laugh, cry, and dance together. I want to make it special for both myself and my fans, and even let you help choose a favorite song to include in a 20-track album.”
In addition to listening to the tracks, fans will have the chance to become part of the album. Vann Da plans to record audience voices for potential inclusion in the songs and may even invite fans on stage to collaborate with him in real-time music production.
