Rising Alabama country music duo Muscadine Bloodline is gearing up for an ambitious 2025, announcing plans to release two new albums and embark on a major headlining tour.
The duo, consisting of Charlie Muncaster and Gary Stanton, had a breakthrough year in 2024. Highlights included a headline performance at Nashville’s iconic Ryman Auditorium in March and the release of The Coastal Plain in August. The album, which features their signature guitar-driven, honky-tonk sound, has earned praise from major outlets like Rolling Stone and Billboard. Additionally, Muscadine Bloodline had the rare opportunity to open for global superstar Post Malone in September.
As 2025 begins, Muncaster and Stanton shared their excitement with fans, vowing to take things even further. In a statement posted on social media, they reflected on their journey so far. “Some days it feels like we just got started and other days it feels like we’ve been doing this ‘Muscadine’ thing forever,” they said. “Creatively, it feels like we finally figured out what we started seven years ago with the ‘Teenage Dixie’ record.”
The duo also teased that their next project will include not just one, but two new albums. “When it came to the concept of The Coastal Plain, we couldn’t get all the stories and ideas conveyed on just one record,” they explained, adding that 2025 would bring fans “more” with their upcoming releases.
Beyond new music, Muscadine Bloodline is planning their biggest headlining tour yet, with several major festival appearances scheduled for the summer and an even larger tour slated for the fall. Fans can also expect a new single featuring Josh Meloy, set for release on January 10.
The duo’s 2025 tour will kick off with two Alabama dates, where they will open for the Red Clay Strays at the Wharf Amphitheater in Orange Beach on July 3 and 4.
