Hailey Whitters is gearing up to release fresh music, offering fans a sneak peek at her upcoming track, “Casseroles.” The country music singer, known for her hit “Everything She Ain’t,” shared an acoustic video on Instagram, where she sings about love, loss, and longing: “Well, if I’m being honest / I could do so much better / Wrap you in my arms in a handwritten letter / Or hold your umbrella while the rain pours.”
Captioning the post, Whitters expressed her excitement, writing, “Can’t wait to release more music for y’all this year… this one might be coming out real soon. Hope you love it as much as I do.”
In a follow-up post, Whitters shared a studio version of the song, offering a glimpse of the poignant chorus: “Oh those old six strings keep strumming / And those wild winged hummingbirds keep humming / Don’t know how but this world keeps on turning / Love keeps on loving / After the casseroles stop coming.”
Accompanying the post, Whitters included a simple, yet powerful caption: “grief sucks.”
The track is expected to be part of Whitters’ anticipated future releases, following her 2023 EP “I’m In Love”. Recent singles, including “Roulette on the Heart” featuring Conner Smith and “Drinkin’ Buddies” with Lee Brice and Nate Smith, have kept fans eagerly anticipating more from the talented singer-songwriter.
