Dangerous surpasses other iconic albums such as Adele’s 21, Taylor Swift’s Fearless, the Hamilton soundtrack, and Ed Sheeran’s Divide, further solidifying Wallen’s dominance in both country music and the wider music industry. With its impressive staying power on the Billboard 200, Dangerous has spent a remarkable 208 weeks on the chart, a streak that continues.
As of late 2024, the album had logged 158 weeks in the Top Ten of the Billboard 200, with only one album—My Fair Lady’s original cast recording—having surpassed this total with 173 weeks in the 1950s. Dangerous is on track to possibly break that record in 2025.
Since its release on January 8, 2021, Dangerous has evolved into one of the most celebrated albums in country music history.
