Canadian rock veterans Silverstein have unveiled their latest single, “Don’t Let Me Get Too Low,” along with a striking new music video. The track is now available for streaming, with the accompanying video offering a glimpse into the band’s creative process, filmed in the desert outside Las Vegas.
Frontman Shane Told explains the song’s blend of influences, saying, “It combines our classic sound with pop-punk and hardcore elements. It’s hard to describe because it does so much in under 3 minutes.” The video showcases Told digging his own grave with a grin, adding a darkly humorous touch to the track’s intense energy.
Guitarist Paul Marc Rousseau reflects on the song’s creation, noting the challenge and satisfaction of crafting a song this brief: “You have to make every second count, and I think we did that here. Zero wasted seconds. 100% banger.”
“Don’t Let Me Get Too Low” is part of Silverstein’s upcoming double album Antibloom / Pink Moon, set for release on February 21, 2025, via UNFD. Written in the deserts of Joshua Tree, the albums promise to be the band’s most eclectic and ambitious work to date.
In addition to the new release, Silverstein is celebrating their 25th anniversary with the 25 Years Of Noise Tour. Kicking off in North America this weekend, the tour will feature support from Thursday, Arm’s Length, and Split Chain, before heading to the UK and EU later in the year with Thursday, The Callous Daoboys, and Bloom. Fans will have the chance to vote for their favorite tracks to shape the setlist for these milestone shows.
