Doja Cat has now surpassed Cardi B to become the second best-selling female rapper of all time, according to the latest Billboard rankings. The Grammy-winning rapper and singer continues to make her mark in the music industry, now sitting behind only Nicki Minaj, who remains the highest-selling female rapper both in the U.S. and globally.
In the U.S., Cardi B has fallen to fourth place in sales, trailing behind Minaj, Doja Cat, and Megan Thee Stallion. However, Cardi B maintains her position as the third best-selling female rapper worldwide, following Minaj and Doja Cat.
Billboard’s rankings, which consider global sales and chart performance on the Hot 100 and Billboard 200, emphasize the dominant influence these artists have in the rap genre. Meanwhile, in broader music categories, Taylor Swift has been named the biggest artist of the 21st century, with Drake leading as the biggest rapper and Maroon 5 holding the title of the biggest group. Destiny’s Child remains the top girl group of the century.
