K-pop sensation IVE is gearing up for a highly anticipated comeback with the release of their third EP, IVE EMPATHY, set for February 3. In the lead-up to the full album, the group will drop the pre-release title track, “REBEL HEART,” this Monday.
Starship Entertainment confirmed the album’s release date in December, following a nine-month gap since the group’s previous EP, IVE SWITCH, which launched in April 2024. “REBEL HEART” serves as a teaser for the upcoming album and is described by the agency as a “portrayal of solidarity among rebels with different narratives.”
With REBEL HEART, IVE promises a bold new musical direction, showcasing their growing confidence and artistic evolution. This comeback follows a brief delay after the tragic Jeju Air crash on December 29, with the agency postponing plans to mourn the loss of 179 lives in the accident.
