Rising Christian rock band Brightstar is making a powerful entrance into the music scene with the release of their debut single, “Fading Echoes.” Founded in 2024 by songwriter and ordained pastor Adam Wood alongside worship leader and lead co-vocalist Jessi Enyiaku, the band offers a heartfelt sound that resonates deeply with audiences.
Released in January 2025, “Fading Echoes” has quickly garnered praise for its poignant lyrics and evocative vocals. The track was produced by Dan Schmalz of Artist First Productions and mastered by Grammy-winning engineer Brad Blackwood, reflecting the band’s dedication to crafting emotionally rich, high-quality music.
Brightstar draws inspiration from renowned acts like Evanescence while carving out a unique identity that bridges faith-based themes with universal experiences. “A lot of Christian music focuses on the positives, but life isn’t always easy,” Wood shares. “We’ve been through seasons of hardship—divorce, raising kids with special needs, mental health challenges. Our music addresses these realities, offering guidance and hope.”
With over 25 years of experience in the music industry as an artist manager, radio promoter, and marketing executive, Wood is now channeling his expertise into Brightstar. Reflecting on this personal milestone, he says, “I’ve always wanted to record music, and now, at 41, it feels like the right time.”
Enyiaku’s commanding vocal talent serves as a cornerstone of the band’s sound. Wood praises her contributions, saying, “Jessi is the true talent here, and that’s evident in every note she sings.”
Looking ahead, Brightstar has ambitious plans, including a full-length album slated for release later in 2025. Until then, fans can stream “Fading Echoes” on major platforms and join the band’s mailing list to stay connected with their journey.
Brightstar’s debut marks the beginning of what promises to be an inspiring and impactful musical legacy.
