Old Dominion to Launch Minnesota State Fair Grandstand Concert Series

Country music powerhouse Old Dominion will kick off the 2024 Minnesota State Fair grandstand series on August 21. Tickets for the highly anticipated show will go on sale this Friday, marking the award-winning band’s first fair performance since 2018.

Known for their string of hits and seven consecutive CMA Vocal Group of the Year awards, the Nashville-based quintet will make their second grandstand appearance. They previously headlined the venue in 2018.

Old Dominion’s recent performances in the Twin Cities include a headlining show at the Xcel Energy Center in 2023 and an opening slot for Kenny Chesney at U.S. Bank Stadium in 2022. Over their career, the group has delivered five studio albums and seven No. 1 hits, including fan favorites like “Break Up with Him,” “Hotel Key,” and “One Man Band.” Their 2023 release Odies but Goodies is a compilation of their greatest hits, featuring collaborations with Megan Moroney, Little Big Town, and the legendary Gladys Knight.

Tickets for the August 21 show, priced between $67 and $149.25, will be available starting at 10 a.m. on Friday online and by phone at 800-514-3849.

The only other announced 2025 State Fair grandstand concert is a performance by Melissa Etheridge and Indigo Girls on August 24.
