Ahead of the 53rd Golden Guitar Awards at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, Keith Urban has been honored with the Top Selling Australian Country Album of the Year award for his album High. The prestigious award was announced in advance of the festival’s opening next weekend, set for January 25.
The Tamworth Country Music Festival revealed that the award is determined by data from the ARIA Charts, cross-referenced with eligibility criteria. Only albums released between January 1 and December 31, 2024, featuring new material, were considered for the honor.
Urban’s High secured the top spot as the best-selling Australian country album, adding another achievement to his illustrious career. The full list of winners for the 53rd Golden Guitar Awards will be unveiled on Saturday, January 25, at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre.
