Houston’s legendary hip-hop artists are set to deliver an unforgettable night of music and purpose at the One Time for the City concert, a celebration kicking off MLK Day weekend while raising scholarship funds for local students.
Produced by Je’Caryous Johnson and Angela Miles, the event promises an electric lineup of Houston’s finest, including Scarface, Slim Thug, Lil Flip, Mike Jones, Devin The Dude, Lil Keke, Lil Troy, Z-Ro, DJ Michael 5000 Watts, and others. Scheduled for January 17 at 8 p.m. at the NRG Arena, the concert offers a rare chance to experience the essence of Houston’s hip-hop culture live.
Adding to the excitement, Lil Flip revealed that he will debut a new song alongside Z-Ro during the performance.
The event’s proceeds will partially support scholarships through the I’m Ready Foundation, an organization dedicated to using music and storytelling to entertain, educate, and inspire while fostering social and historical awareness.
