City and Colour frontman Dallas Green has revealed exciting news for fans of his folk collaboration with pop superstar P!nk. The duo has completed a long-awaited follow-up to their critically acclaimed 2014 debut Rose Ave.
While on tour in Australia, Green shared that the pair began writing and recording new music in 2018, with additional sessions in 2022, wrapping up the project in April of last year. Although Green expressed hope for an imminent release, he acknowledged the challenges of coordinating schedules, noting P!nk’s back-to-back stadium tours and his own two-and-a-half-year touring stint.
Green also confirmed that P!nk made the surprise announcement of the album during a recent charity event, adding to the growing anticipation for the project.
