Tate McRae has scored a major milestone with her latest hit, “It’s ok I’m ok,” which has claimed the top position on Billboard’s newly launched Hot Dance/Pop Songs chart. This chart, designed for tracks with dance-driven vocals and hooks from artists outside the dance/electronic genre, has made McRae’s song the first-ever No. 1.
Meanwhile, Charli XCX is dominating the upper ranks with multiple tracks in the top 10, including “Apple,” “360,” “Guess” featuring Billie Eilish, and “Sympathy is a knife” featuring Ariana Grande. Other notable artists in the top 10 include The Weeknd, Katy Perry, and Kesha.
In addition to this new chart, Billboard has also revamped its Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. Leading that list is “Miles On It” by Marshmello and Kane Brown, followed by David Guetta, Alphaville, and Ava Max’s “Forever Young.”
