Gang of Four Adds Ted Leo and Gail Greenwood to Farewell Tour Lineup

Gang of Four has rounded out the lineup for their upcoming farewell tour, adding Ted Leo and Gail Greenwood to join original members Jon King and Hugo Burnham. Greenwood, known for her work with Belly and L7, is hailed by the band as a “fantastic bass player” and an “awesome presence on stage.” She first performed with Gang of Four in 2024. Leo, celebrated for his guitar prowess, will bring his signature sound to the shows, praised by the band for his deep connection to their classic material.

Leo expressed his excitement, calling it an honor to play alongside “some true heroes” of his. Gang of Four’s North American “Long Goodbye” tour is set to kick off April 20 in Boston, with dates running through May 29 in San Diego. The tour will feature two sets: the first will showcase their iconic 1979 album Entertainment! in full, followed by a selection of their best-known songs.

This final tour comes after a decades-long career for the band, whose lineup has seen several changes over the years. Guitarist David Pajo, who joined the band in 2022, is no longer part of the tour as he pursues other projects. Gang of Four has made it clear that this farewell tour is their way of celebrating their legacy with fans, closing out their career with a memorable send-off.
