Carroll Baker, often hailed as Canada’s first lady of country music, is embarking on her final tour this spring at the age of 75, marking the end of a remarkable 56-year career. The farewell tour will take her across the Maritimes, with multiple stops planned in New Brunswick.
Baker is set to perform at the Riverview Arts Centre in Riverview on April 24 at 7 p.m., the James M. Hill Theatre in Miramichi on April 26 at 2 p.m., and the Playhouse in Fredericton on April 28 at 7 p.m. Her schedule also includes concerts in Nova Scotia, with shows in Halifax, Truro, and Sydney.
Reflecting on her experiences performing in New Brunswick, Baker shared her fondness for the region. “I have never had a problem ever in New Brunswick—it’s a great audience,” she said.
Tickets for the farewell tour are available through her official website.
As Baker bids farewell to her fans, the tour offers a final opportunity to experience the legendary artist who has been a cornerstone of Canadian country music for decades.
