Cambridge rap music icon JayaHadADream, named one of Youth Music’s ‘Ones to Watch: 25 for 2025,’ is reflecting on what she calls the “maddest and best year” of her life in 2024.
Born Jaya Gordon-Moore in Rosie, Cambridge, she rose through the local scene with her unique sound. She attended Netherhall Sixth Form, where she received significant support from teachers during challenging times related to mental health. Afterward, she moved to the Midlands to pursue her studies at the University of Nottingham, all while continuing to build her music career. With her notable recognition this year, Jaya looks forward to expanding her impact in 2025.
