K-pop sensation Chungha will make her highly anticipated return with her fifth EP, Alivio, set for release on February 12, according to her agency, More Vision.
The title, which translates to “comfort and relief” in Spanish, hints at the themes of the album—exploring the emotional journey from stress to relief. Chungha aims to offer solace and encouragement to her listeners, encouraging them to navigate their feelings and discover their true selves.
Alivio marks Chungha’s first album in over two and a half years, following the release of her second studio album, Bare & Rare Pt. 1. After a year-long hiatus, the artist made her return in 2024, releasing four digital singles, including the winter-themed Christmas Promises. She also featured on Jay Park’s track “Gimme a Minute,” a key piece from his sixth LP, The One You Wanted.
