The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum has announced the details of its 2025 “American Currents: State of the Music” exhibit, which will open on March 5. This ongoing annual showcase takes a deep dive into the evolution of country music, spotlighting key artists, musical milestones, and significant events from the past year, as curated by the museum’s editorial staff.
The 2025 installment focuses on the stars of 2024, including Hardy, Jelly Roll, Cody Johnson, Amythyst Kiah, Carin León, Shelby Lynne, Megan Moroney, Orville Peck, Post Malone, The Red Clay Strays, Shaboozey, Chris Stapleton, Billy Strings, Taylor Swift, Turnpike Troubadours, Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, Morgan Wallen, and Lainey Wilson, among others.
A special section titled “Unbroken Circle” will explore the musical influences that shape today’s artists, featuring pairings such as Wyatt Ellis with Sierra Hull, Jamey Johnson with Ella Langley, and Kaitlin Butts with Miranda Lambert.
The exhibit will also spotlight Beyoncé’s country music venture, Cowboy Carter, along with the year’s top country albums, chart-topping singles, and highest-grossing tours. Additional featured artists include Zach Bryan, Dasha, Sierra Ferrell, Rosie Flores, Sturgill Simpson, and Country Music Hall of Fame members Joe Bonsall, Toby Keith, and Kris Kristofferson.
Kyle Young, CEO of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, explained, “Last year, we witnessed innovative collaborations, well-deserved honors, and the continued expansion of country and roots-inspired music’s reach to broader audiences. ‘American Currents’ allows us to highlight these significant moments within the context of music history.”
The exhibit is included with museum admission and will be on display in the ACM Gallery through January 2026.
