Known for her groundbreaking hit “Roxanne’s Revenge” in 1984, Shanté has been a trailblazer in the rap industry, and this honor recognizes her outstanding contributions to music. The award will be presented on Saturday, February 1, at the Wilshire Ebell Theater in Los Angeles, celebrating Shanté’s remarkable impact on the field of recording.
