NewJeans made waves by revealing that they are officially rebranding as NJZ, following an ongoing dispute with their record label, HYBE’s ADOR. The K-pop girl group, which consists of Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein, confirmed that they are now focused on creating and performing fresh, innovative music. Haerin hinted that the upcoming tracks will present a “very unique and different sound,” with more details expected to surface next month.
In addition to the name change, NJZ announced their participation as co-headliners at ComplexCon Hong Kong, taking place from March 21 to March 23. The group revealed that they will debut a new song on the festival’s final day, building excitement for their evolving musical journey. Fans, affectionately known as Bunnies, are now eagerly anticipating not only the music but also the potential shift to a new fandom name, perhaps “BNZ”? Time will tell.
