George Strait and Chris Stapleton are set to reunite for another highly anticipated stadium tour in 2025, with the country music icons adding five new dates across June, May, and July. This follows two years of packed-out shows that have cemented their partnership as one of the most successful in country music.
The newly announced tour stops will feature Parker McCollum as the opening act for four of the shows, while Little Big Town will join the duo for the concert in Inglewood, California. McCollum previously performed at Strait’s record-breaking Kyle Field show in 2023, which attracted a staggering 110,905 attendees, making it the largest single-ticketed concert in U.S. history.
Strait, whose legacy includes a record-breaking 60 No. 1 hits, will bring his catalog of country classics and anthems to major football stadiums in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Foxborough, and Inglewood. Strait’s influence on the genre is unmatched, including holding the record for the largest indoor concert in North America, with 104,793 fans attending his 2014 The Cowboy Rides Away farewell tour.
Ahead of the announcement, Strait expressed his excitement about returning to the stage: “I keep trying to slow down a bit, but you keep calling me back. Please don’t ever stop. I still love it just as much as I always have.”
He also thanked his fellow performers, saying, “Thank you for an amazing year last year and I can’t wait to see you for a few more again this year. Chris will be back, and I’m glad to have Little Big Town with us in LA. For the other cities, we’ve added Parker McCollum to the show, which will be outstanding. Can’t wait to see you!”
