Country music legends George Strait and Chris Stapleton are teaming up for a limited run of stadium shows in 2025, marking some of Strait’s only live performances of the year. The country icons will perform in five cities, adding extra dates to Stapleton’s already packed All-American Roadshow Tour.
Despite not dominating the airwaves these days, both artists remain powerhouse stadium performers with loyal followings. Strait, reflecting on his enduring passion for live music, shared, “I keep trying to slow down a bit, but you keep calling me back. Please don’t ever stop. I still love it just as much as I always have.” He expressed excitement for the upcoming shows, which will feature special guests including Parker McCollum and Little Big Town at select locations.
McCollum, who has previously opened for Strait, was part of the record-breaking Texas A&M concert that set the U.S. attendance record with 110,905 fans. Notably, that record is expected to be surpassed by Zach Bryan in September 2025, when his Michigan Stadium concert is expected to draw over 112,000 fans.
The upcoming tour will take Strait and Stapleton to Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Foxboro, and Inglewood. Tickets will go on sale Friday, February 21 at 10 a.m. local time online.
