Fans who stayed until the final moments of Cody Johnson’s Nashville concert, were treated to an unforgettable surprise: Luke Combs took the stage for an electrifying duet of “Beer Never Broke My Heart.”
Combs’ appearance was the highlight of an evening filled with unexpected guests. Country music stars Ian Munsick and Carrie Underwood had already made surprise appearances earlier in the show, both performing duets with Johnson. Munsick and Underwood, who have teamed up with Johnson on past collaborations, brought extra energy to the stage, but it was Combs’ impromptu cameo that left the crowd in awe.
The encore moment came after Johnson had already wrapped up his first encore. As he kicked off the opening verse of Combs’ 2019 hit, the crowd buzzed with excitement. Then, in a burst of energy, Combs emerged from the wings, and the two country heavyweights exchanged a knowing glance before launching into the chorus. The audience sang along in full force, adding to the electric atmosphere.
Johnson is currently on his Leather Tour, which will continue through mid-August.
