The highly anticipated Garden State 20th Anniversary Benefit Concert, which sold out quickly in Los Angeles, will be available for streaming exclusively on Veeps. The one-night-only event, set for March 29 at the Greek Theatre, will be streamed starting April 6. Fans of the 2005 film and its iconic soundtrack can now enjoy the concert from anywhere, all while supporting a good cause. Proceeds will benefit Midnight Mission, a homeless shelter and service provider in Los Angeles.
“We were blown away by the amount of interest in the Garden State 20th Anniversary Concert Benefiting the Midnight Mission,” said Zach Braff, the film’s star and director. “While the theater only seats 6,000 people, recording the show enables us to share the special night with people all over the world.” The event not only celebrates the beloved soundtrack but also gives back to the Los Angeles community, including those affected by homelessness and local fires.
The concert will feature performances from artists featured on the film’s soundtrack, including The Shins, Iron & Wine, Frou Frou, Colin Hay of Men at Work, Cary Brothers, and more. Cast members and unannounced special guests will also make appearances.
