Among the stars nominated for this year’s Latin Grammy Awards are Shakira, Karol G and Bad Bunny.
Seven awards are up for both Shakira and Karol G. The Colombian singers are up for Record of the Year, with Karol recognized for her ballad Mientras Me Curo Del Cora and Shakira nominated for Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53.
They are also nominated for Song of Year for their collaboration TQG, but Shakira is also nominated twice in this category for Acróstico and Bizarro Sessions, Vol. 53.
International sensation Bad Bunny is also nominated for guest vocals on Grupo Frontera’s Un X100to (song of the year, best regional song), Eladio Carrión’s Coco Chanel (best rap/hip-hop song) and Arcángel’s La Jumpa (best urban fusion/performance, best urban song).
Texas-born songwriter-producer Édgar Barrera received the most nominations this year with 13, including four in the top general categories.
The ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 16 at the Conference and Exhibition Center in Seville, Spain – the first time the awards have been held outside the United States.
