Today, from the top of New York City’s Empire State Building, Oscar-winning actor Jared Leto announced Thirty Seconds to Mars’ monumental Seasons 2024 World Tour. The tour will span Latin America, Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand. This will be the band’s first headlining tour in over 5 years. Full details of the tour dates and ticketing information can be found below.
Leto, the band’s frontman, recently completed a historic feat by becoming the first person to climb the Empire State Building. Having been fascinated by the incredible landmark since childhood, he said, “The building is a testament to all the things you can do in the world if you put your mind to it, which is largely the inspiration behind our latest album, It’s The End Of The World But It’s A Beautiful Day. As an avid mountain climber, the Empire State Building and the tour announcement convey the feeling that anything is possible if you put your mind to it.
The Empire State Building was recently ranked by Tripadvisor as the #1 attraction in the U.S. for the second year in a row. It recently completed a $165 million renovation of its legendary, iconic Observatory.
The tour begins in Latin America with festival appearances at Lollapalooza in Chile, Argentina and Brazil, as well as Estéreo Picnic in Colombia and Tecate Pa’l Norte Festival in Mexico. This is followed by 28 shows across Great Britain, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Poland, Slovak Republic, Czechia, Hungary, Austria, France, Swiss, Italy, Spain and Portugal. The tour then moves to North America, where Mars will be joined by AFI, with support from Poppy and Kenny Hoopla, for 24 shows in major arenas and amphitheaters. Finally, the tour will wrap up in Australia and New Zealand with four arena shows.
