Musician Jack White has sparked speculation about fresh musical offerings as he shared a guitar music clip on New Year’s Day (01.01.24) via Instagram. Leaving the caption blank, the former White Stripes star has left fans intrigued about the possibility of a new tune.
The 48-year-old artist, known for his solo work and as part of the White Stripes, released two solo albums, ‘Fear Of The Dawn’ and ‘Entering Heaven Alive,’ in 2022. White, who revealed his prolific creative output during lockdown, expressed how the enforced seclusion allowed him to engage in various pursuits, from music to furniture design and management of Third Man Records.
Reflecting on his increased productivity, White shared with the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column in 2022: “It might sound surprising, but I’ve done more stuff (recently) than in the last 10 years.”
Originally planning a single album, White’s creative process led to the realization that the differing styles warranted two distinct records, explaining, “The soft, melodic songs didn’t go well with heavier pieces. So I started to split them into two titles. It was better to keep them in their own unique little universe.”
