Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, may find themselves in an awkward position after resurfaced comments made by Travis’s brother, Jason Kelce, about the monarchy.

The chart-topping singer and her boyfriend recently mingled with Prince William and his children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, at Wembley Stadium following her first Eras Tour concert in London. Taylor shared a joyful photo on Instagram, featuring herself, the future king, his children, and Travis, captioned, “Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start.”

However, comments from Jason Kelce have gone viral in the wake of this royal encounter. Travis and Jason co-host a podcast called “New Heights,” where they recently discussed royalty in the context of Father’s Day traditions in Thailand.

During the podcast, Jason criticized the concept of royalty, saying, “I’m out on honouring kings. Listen, we’re Americans. We don’t do royalty.” He further added, “F**k kings. But I wouldn’t mind [wife] Kylie [Kelce] kneeling at my feet.”

Travis countered Jason’s views, pointing out the contradiction by saying he couldn’t be “out on kings and in on people bowing.” Jason responded, “I’m not into people bowing. I’m into my children bowing to me to show me respect, goddammit.”

These remarks have caught the attention of Taylor’s fans, many of whom have noted the timing, as the singer and her boyfriend had just met Prince William days after the podcast discussion. The juxtaposition has sparked renewed interest and scrutiny of the Kelce brothers’ comments.
