Country music artist Josh Turner is set to launch his latest album, “This Country Music Thing,” on August 16 under MCA Nashville. Serving as his 10th studio album, it features production by longtime collaborator Kenny Greenberg. Turner has already teased fans with a preview from the album through his new track, “Down In Georgia,” offering a glimpse into what’s to come.
Turner, who co-wrote three songs on the album, expressed his personal connection to the project, stating, “I think they’ve been reading my mail, because I married a girl from Georgia and we actually moved to Georgia last year.” Other notable contributors to the album include Luke Laird, Rhett Akins, Jon Randall, Chase McGill, among others.
Fans eager to experience Turner’s latest work can look forward to the vinyl edition of “This Country Music Thing,” available from September 13. Currently on his nationwide “Greatest Hits Tour” throughout 2024, Turner continues to captivate audiences coast to coast with his distinctive sound and heartfelt lyrics.
