Two nationally acclaimed singers, including one with local ties, are set to grace Fort Dodge’s Downtown Country Jam on September 28th.
Joe Nichols, renowned for hits like “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off,” will headline the event. Joining him is Morgan Myles, who achieved third place on “The Voice” in 2022 and is a close friend of Fort Dodge native Dani Huss. Dani and her mother, Dee Huss, flew to Los Angeles to support Myles during the semi-final round of the competition.
Opening the show will be Tyler Richton & The High Bank Boys, a Deep River-based band known for their energetic performances.
The concert, featuring Nichols, Myles, and Tyler Richton & The High Bank Boys, promises to fill downtown Fort Dodge with the vibrant sounds of country music from the stage located at Central Avenue and Ninth Street. Last year, the event headlined by Josh Turner attracted a record crowd of 4,553 attendees.
Organizers express confidence in Nichols as a headliner, believing he will deliver another standout performance for Downtown Country Jam.
Tickets for the concert are available starting today at 7 p.m. on Ticketweb.com. From August 3rd onwards, tickets will also be sold at Hy-Vee located at 115 S. 29th St., with additional local businesses to be announced.
