Fresh off her electrifying headlining performance at Glastonbury, global pop sensation and multiple award-winner Dua Lipa has announced a major performance at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium next summer. The highly anticipated show is scheduled for June 20, 2025, with tickets available to the public starting at 10am BST on Friday, July 12.
“There couldn’t be a better time to share this with you all! I am still flying high from the magic of headlining the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury this weekend, and I am absolutely thrilled to announce I’ll be playing Wembley Stadium this time next year,” said Lipa in her announcement.
To commemorate this announcement, Dua Lipa has partnered with O2 to revive their iconic “Walk Ad” campaign, promoting an exclusive presale for her Radical Optimism Tour at Wembley. The campaign features a visually captivating 60-second film, directed by acclaimed UK director Daniel Wolfe, showcasing Lipa and her dancers transitioning from a quintessential British beach to the stage. O2 customers will have early access to tickets via the Priority app starting at 10am BST on Wednesday, July 10, 48 hours before the general release.
Lipa’s headline performance at Glastonbury has garnered rave reviews from critics. The Guardian labeled it “an unequivocal success,” while the Evening Standard praised it as “a masterclass in how to adapt glossy pop perfection for the one-of-a-kind surroundings of Worthy Farm.” The BBC noted, “Dua hit every mark with the precision of someone who’d been building towards this moment for years,” and The Telegraph called it “a shiny demonstration of what has made Lipa the only global star to emerge from the UK in a decade.”
Following a series of European festivals this summer, Dua Lipa is set to perform at London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall on October 17, which sold out instantly. In November, she will embark on the Asia leg of her Radical Optimism Tour, kicking off in Singapore on November 5 and covering major cities including Jakarta, Manila, Tokyo, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, and Bangkok, before concluding with back-to-back shows in Seoul on December 4 and 5 at Gocheok Sky Dome.
The Radical Optimism Tour supports Lipa’s third album of the same name, which debuted at No. 1 in 11 countries, including the UK, where it became the biggest album debut from a UK artist in 2024. The album also achieved the highest week-one sales for a UK female artist since 2021. In the US, it debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart and No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart, marking Lipa’s biggest sales week to date. The album has received critical acclaim, with The New York Times calling it “an album of nonstop ear candy,” Variety describing it as “a joyous blast of pop savvy,” and The New Yorker praising its “gleaming and impenetrable expanse.” Vogue declared it “a summery, self-assured slice of pop brilliance…[and] catchy as hell.”
