Spencer County is gearing up for its first-ever Spencer County Music Fest, promising a spectacular lineup of 90s music legends at the Spencer County Fairgrounds on July 19th and 20th. This two-day event will feature a star-studded array of performances sure to delight fans of the era.
Friday’s lineup kicks off with Georgette Jones, renowned for her country heritage as the daughter of the legendary George Jones. Taking the stage at 5:45 p.m., Georgette’s career highlights include performances at the Opry and Ryman Auditorium, alongside extensive tours across the U.S., Canada, and abroad. Closing the night is David Lee Murphy, celebrated for chart-topping hits such as “Dust on the Bottle,” “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright,” and “Party Crowd.”
Saturday’s festivities continue with more 90s nostalgia, featuring Confederate Railroad at 8 p.m. Known for their 18 charted hits and five million albums sold, the group’s popular songs include “She Took It Like A Man,” “Jesus and Mama,” and “Queen of Memphis.” Closing out the festival is Colt Graves, a talented singer-songwriter hailing from Owensboro, Kentucky. Graves has recently released several tracks, including “Mug Shot,” “Dirt on Me,” and “Cowboy Capone.”
