Grammy-winning rap icon Nelly is set to electrify the stage this September at the Du Quoin State Fair. The St. Louis native, renowned for his groundbreaking debut album “Country Grammar” in 2000, which produced hits like the title track and “Ride wit Me,” continues to dominate the music scene. His sophomore album, “Nellyville,” topped the Billboard charts upon its 2002 release, featuring the chart-topping single “Hot in Herre.”

“Nelly is a local music industry legend,” remarked Luke Davison, manager of the Du Quoin State Fair. “His performance promises to be a highlight of the event.” Tickets for the September 2 show range from $40 to $50 and can be purchased through the fair’s box office or Ticketmaster.
