Mikaela Lafuente, a 22-year-old model and influencer, has accused rapper Kanye West of sending her several inappropriate messages. Lafuente claims that West, 47, sent these messages despite being married to Bianca Censori.
According to Lafuente, the messages were sent in March, and she initially believed they were from a fake account. “It was funny. My boyfriend Bryce and I were in Vegas, and I was going through my Instagram DMs when I saw this message from Kanye West,” she recounted. “At first, I didn’t believe it and thought it was a fake account, but it wasn’t. The message was pretty odd as I had never spoken to him or seen him in person before.”
The first message from West reportedly said, “Back in Cali,” followed by an invitation to “hang out” and listen to his new album. Lafuente declined the offer, stating that she found it “inappropriate” for him to message her given his marital status and the significant age difference.
“I don’t think it’s acceptable to be messaging other women when you’re married. It’s not acceptable and it’s something I’d stand behind forever,” Lafuente asserted. “If he texts other girls, I know I said no, but others might not. I do not support it. Maybe they (him and his wife) have an agreement and Bianca knows about it and is cool with it, but we will never know this.”
Lafuente emphasized her commitment to her boyfriend, saying, “I have a boyfriend I love dearly, and he (Kanye) has a wife.” She added that West liked her message and then deleted all of his messages.
Kanye West has been married to Bianca Censori, 29, since December 2022.
