Seether is poised to release their ninth studio album, “The Surface Seems So Far,” this fall. The album promises to uphold their reputation for raw, emotional music amidst an industry often dominated by transient trends and manufactured sounds.

The lead single from the album, “Judas Mind,” sets the tone for the unapologetically aggressive 11-track collection. The album, slated for release on September 20th through Fantasy Records, opens with the powerful track, for which the band has also unveiled a lyric video.

Frontman and songwriter Shaun Morgan explains, “‘Judas Mind’ is a song about recognizing the presence of harmful influences in our lives, those who attempt to dictate our path and future. It’s about resisting those who envision a destiny for us that we do not accept.”
